# ElevenLabs: Create and Edit Music

Compose music, create a composition plan, generate music for a video, separate stems, or manage music fine-tunes.

Find this node under **ElevenLabs** in the action picker. It uses an [ElevenLabs connection](/integrations/connection-providers/media/elevenlabs.md).

## Set up the node

1. Add **ElevenLabs: Create and Edit Music** to your workflow.
2. Select your ElevenLabs connection.
3. Choose **Model / Action**. The configuration form changes to match your choice.
4. Fill the required fields, using values from earlier steps where needed.
5. Save your changes and run the step. Review its result in **Build** or **History**.

## Parameters and inputs

The fields depend on the selected action. Use the labels, required markers, and available choices shown in your form.

| Input              | What to provide                                                                       |
| ------------------ | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Model / Action     | Choose composition, planning, video-to-music, stem separation, or a fine-tune action. |
| Creative input     | Provide a music description, composition plan, video, or audio file as requested.     |
| Music settings     | Fill the length, style, and other controls offered by the selected action.            |
| Existing fine-tune | Select or enter an existing fine-tune for retrieval, editing, or deletion.            |

## Outputs

Music or stem files, a composition plan, detailed composition information, or fine-tune status.

Fine-tuning and some music operations may require additional account access. When a job is still processing, use its retrieval action instead of submitting another creation request.

## Example

Choose **Compose Music** and describe a short, calm instrumental backing track for a product introduction. Review the audio before adding it to your production.
