# Kling: Get and List Tasks

Check an existing Kling task or list tasks so later workflow steps can use completed media.

Find this node under **Kling** in the action picker. It uses a [Kling connection](/integrations/connection-providers/media/kling.md).

## Set up the node

1. Add **Kling: Get and List Tasks** to your workflow.
2. Select your Kling connection.
3. Choose **Model / Action**. The configuration form changes to match your choice.
4. Fill the required fields, using values from earlier steps where needed.
5. Save your changes and run the step. Review its result in **Build** or **History**.

## Parameters and inputs

The fields depend on the selected action. Use the labels, required markers, and available choices shown in your form.

| Input          | What to provide                                                                                                |
| -------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Model / Action | Choose the query matching the original task type: video, image, audio, avatar, lip sync, effects, or commerce. |
| Task ID        | Use the task identifier returned by creation when querying one task.                                           |
| List options   | For list actions, use the available page or cursor controls.                                                   |

## Outputs

Task status, task details, and completed media when available.

Querying a task does not generate new media. Choose the query corresponding to the creation action; older task families have their own query choices.

## Example

After **Kling: Generate Video** returns a task ID, select **Get Tasks by ID — Video**. Continue only once the response includes a successful status and usable video.
