# Kling: Edit Video Selections

Prepare selected areas of a video for a multi-element edit before submitting the final editing task.

Find this node under **Kling** in the action picker. It uses a [Kling connection](/integrations/connection-providers/media/kling.md).

## Set up the node

1. Add **Kling: Edit Video Selections** to your workflow.
2. Select your Kling connection.
3. Choose **Model / Action**. The configuration form changes to match your choice.
4. Fill the required fields, using values from earlier steps where needed.
5. Save your changes and run the step. Review its result in **Build** or **History**.

## Parameters and inputs

The fields depend on the selected action. Use the labels, required markers, and available choices shown in your form.

| Input                 | What to provide                                                                         |
| --------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Model / Action        | Choose initialization, add/remove/clear selection, or preview.                          |
| Video or editing task | Provide the source video for initialization, then reuse the returned editing reference. |
| Selection details     | Specify the region and selection information required by the chosen action.             |

## Outputs

An editing reference, selection information, or a preview of the selected areas.

These actions prepare and inspect selections; a selection preview is not the final rendered video. Region details are entered in the node form.

## Example

Initialize a clip, add the area to change, and preview the selection. Continue with the multi-elements creation action in **Kling: Generate Video** to submit the edit.
