General & AppSumo Q&A

AppSumo Q&A

General & Licensing

  • Q: What does "Internal use only" on the AppSumo deal mean? Can I use it to build agents for my clients?

    • A: "Internal use only" means you cannot resell the AppSumo license/seats themselves to another company. You are absolutely encouraged to use AgenticFlow to build, deploy, and even sell AI agents or automated workflow services to your clients.

  • Q: What does "SaaS-level LTD" mean exactly?

    • A: It means the AppSumo deal provides lifetime access to the features included in our standard self-serve SaaS plans (Pro for Tiers 1/2, Team for Tiers 3/4). It includes all core platform functionalities and standard integrations available for those tiers. It excludes features reserved for our custom Enterprise plans, such as specialized integrations (SAP, Oracle), dedicated SLAs, or private cloud deployments.

  • Q: Are future upgrades included in the LTD? Will features be paywalled?

    • A: Yes, LTD Tiers 1-4 map to our Pro/Team plans and will receive all future core features added to those respective plans. Features exclusive to our higher Business/Enterprise tiers (like the advanced Multi-Agent system) remain separate to keep the LTD sustainable. The Multi-Agent add-on for Tier 4 is a specific exception based on demand, not a general strategy.

  • Q: Does the AppSumo Plus membership give access to your Tier 4?

    • A: Yes, being an AppSumo Plus member gives you the exclusive option to purchase the AgenticFlow Tier 4 LTD, which includes higher limits (200k credits/mo, 25 users, 2GB knowledge) and Team plan features.

  • Q: How many agents or workflows can I create?

    • A: You can create unlimited agents and workflows on all tiers. The only practical limit is your account's credit usage and API rate limits, which can be discussed if needed.

Credits & Billing

  • Q: How do AgenticFlow Credits work? What do they cover?

  • Q: How does Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) affect credit usage? Does BYOK mean zero credits used?

    • A: BYOK (for OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, etc.) means the variable cost for that specific LLM call is billed directly by the provider to your key, not using AgenticFlow credits. However, the workflow/agent step making the BYOK call still incurs the fixed platform credit cost (3 or 4 credits). So, BYOK reduces credit consumption but doesn't eliminate it entirely.

  • Q: Can I buy extra credits if I run out? Do they expire?

    • A: Yes, you can purchase one-time credit top-ups on any paid/LTD plan ($20 for 10,000 credits). These top-up credits never expire and are only used after your regular monthly allowance is depleted.

  • Q: Can I see how many credits a workflow will cost beforehand? Is there usage history?

  • Q: What about costs for image/video generation or Pixel ML OpenRouter?

    • A: Image/video generation actions use the Pixel ML OpenRouter. This usage is not covered by your included AgenticFlow credits. It operates on a separate pay-as-you-go basis billed via Pixel ML (using your AgenticFlow account login when the portal is live, planned early May).

  • Q: Will the fixed credits per run decrease in the future?

    • A: Current fixed costs cover platform overhead and are tied to the plan level for sustainability. We'll revisit if fundamental costs drop significantly, but no immediate plans to lower them for LTD tiers are announced.

Features & Capabilities

  • Q: What LLMs does AgenticFlow support? Can I use models like Gemini 2.5, Grok 3, or GPT-4.1?

  • Q: What is the Multi-Agent System? Is it included in the AppSumo deal?

    • A: The Multi-Agent System is an advanced feature where a "manager" agent orchestrates tasks across specialized "sub-agents" autonomously. This is part of our separate Business Plan (

  • Q: What is MCP (Model Context Protocol)? Is it included?

  • Q: What are Premium Integrations? What's the benefit on Tier 3/4 for WhatsApp/LinkedIn?

    • A: Premium Integrations are specific built-in connectors (e.g., AWS KB, Google/Azure TTS, Apify, Facebook, LINE, Notion) that offer enhanced reliability or features compared to potentially relying on community MCPs. For WhatsApp and LinkedIn specifically on Tier 3/4, the "premium" status primarily grants more reliable, managed connections and priority support from our team when using their available MCP actions. The list of actions itself is generally the same as what the standard MCP connection offers via the official API.

  • Q: Does AgenticFlow have web browsing ability or mimic human clicks?

    • A: No direct interactive browsing or mimicking human clicks (RPA). It fetches content from URLs via scraping actions (built-in or Apify MCP) and performs web searches (Google/Perplexity actions). It interacts via APIs, not UI automation.

  • Q: Can I build a workflow from a natural language prompt like Maazal AI?

  • Q: Can AgenticFlow create videos from scripts, images, and audio? What's the max length?

  • Q: Can agents generate images or videos with animation?

  • Q: Can AgenticFlow handle 3D clothing photography automation (flatlay -> 3D -> PIM)?

    • A: Yes, likely possible. Use Replicate/FAL MCPs for 2D->3D conversion. Use Email/Form/future Approval action for marketing review. Use API Call action to push approved assets to your PIM. Use LLM action for descriptions.

  • Q: Does AgenticFlow support voice commands or voice chat?

  • Q: Can agents be embedded? As an iframe? On any CMS?

  • Q: Does the UI support Italian or other languages?

    • A: The AgenticFlow platform UI itself is currently English only. However, the AI agents can understand and respond in many languages, including Italian, depending on the LLM model you use (built-in or BYOK).

  • Q: Why is code output sometimes not formatted?

    • A: The default built-in models might not automatically use Markdown for code. Fixes: Prompt the agent specifically ("Format code using ```") or use BYOK with a stronger model (GPT-3.5+, Claude Sonnet, Gemini Pro) that handles formatting better.

  • Q: Do you have webhook triggers? How about sending data out via webhooks?

Integrations (MCPs)

  • Q: What is MCP? Do I need a Pipedream subscription?

  • Q: Is MCP Server access included in the deal?

    • A: The ability to connect to and use MCP servers is included in all tiers. The hosting of the MCP server itself is external (e.g., free public endpoints from Composio, paid plans, or self-hosted).

  • Q: How do I request new MCP tools or actions (e.g., for Shopify, Amazon Selling Partner, Straico, Stackby)?

  • Q: Can I use MCP actions inside a Workflow action?

  • Q: How does the WhatsApp integration work?

  • Q: What can the LinkedIn integration do? Can it scrape or manage DMs?

  • Q: Can AgenticFlow connect to GoHighLevel (GHL)? How about multiple accounts?

  • Q: Does it integrate with Telegram?

  • Q: Does it integrate with Gmail? Can I use free Gmail?

  • Q: Can I connect my domain email?

  • Q: Does it work with Apisdrive/Pabbly/Albato/Syncspider?

    • A: No direct MCPs. Integrate using webhooks (trigger AgenticFlow via API endpoint) or by having AgenticFlow call their APIs/webhooks using the API Call action.

  • Q: How many LinkedIn accounts can I connect via MCP?

    • A: No AgenticFlow limit. Create named MCP connections for each. You are subject to LinkedIn's own API limits.

  • Q: Does it integrate with Razorpay?

    • A: Not currently via MCP. Please request on roadmap. Use the API Call action in the meantime.

  • Q: Many MCPs (AITable, Bika.ai) show 0 actions. When will they work?

  • Q: Difference between connecting OpenAI via main Connections vs. MCP?

    • A: Main Connections (Settings > Connections) integrate OpenAI/Claude/etc. as core LLMs for standard actions/agents. MCP connection adds them as specific callable tools for an agent but doesn't register them as primary LLMs. Use main Connections for core tasks.

Use Cases & Comparisons

  • Q: Can AgenticFlow automate a process like: Google Form submit -> Send data to AI -> AI researches -> AI formats a report -> Save report to Google Doc -> Send notification?

    • A: Yes, this is a perfect use case for our Workflow builder using MCPs for Google Forms, Google Docs, AI actions for processing/research, and Email/Slack MCPs for notifications.

  • Q: How can I use AgenticFlow to scrape competitor websites weekly and save new product data to Google Sheets?

    • A: Use Web Scraping action or Apify MCP (recommended for scale/reliability) triggered by a schedule (API trigger or Table Run). Feed scraped content to LLM action to extract product details (price, title, description). Use Google Sheets MCP to append data. To track new products only, store processed URLs in a Table dataset and have the workflow check against it before scraping.

  • Q: Can I use AgenticFlow to automate fetching latest chats from a Telegram channel, extracting links, and reposting to another channel?

  • Q: Can I automate fetching affiliate deals from networks (CJ, Admitad) and publishing them to WordPress?

  • Q: How does AgenticFlow compare to Pabbly Connect / Zapier / Make / N8N?

    • A: These tools primarily connect apps via pre-built triggers/actions (you wire them manually). AgenticFlow combines this (via Workflows and MCPs) with AI-native capabilities. Agents can understand natural language instructions and intelligently choose which connected MCP tool to use, reducing the need for manual step-by-step configuration. It also integrates AI model calls (LLMs, image/video gen) seamlessly within the flows.

  • Q: How does AgenticFlow compare to Mindpal / Gumloop?

    • A: These are strong at "Level 3" prompt chaining. AgenticFlow offers Level 3 (Workflows) plus Level 4 (Agents using tools/knowledge via MCP) and a path to Level 5 (Multi-Agent orchestration add-on). AgenticFlow has broader tool connectivity (MCPs), integrated multi-modal AI, and is built on production-scaled infrastructure.

  • Q: How does AgenticFlow compare to TeamPal?

    • A: TeamPal has fewer integrations (~29 vs. AgenticFlow's 2500+ via MCP). AgenticFlow has a more AI-native architecture designed for agentic workflows and multi-agent systems, plus built-in LLMs and BYOK flexibility.

  • Q: How does AgenticFlow compare to Robomotion?

    • A: Robomotion is RPA (Robotic Process Automation) focused on UI automation (screen clicks, mimicking human interaction). AgenticFlow is API/AI automation – it interacts with services programmatically via APIs and MCPs, not by controlling a browser UI.

  • Q: How does AgenticFlow compare to Manus?

    • A: Manus demonstrates advanced "Level 6" autonomous agents for complex tasks like app building or real-time analysis, but is currently very expensive. AgenticFlow focuses on practical, cost-effective Level 3/4/5 automation today, with a PoC for Level 6 in development. Request Manus-style features on the roadmap.

  • Q: How can a Lifestyle/Nutrition Coach use AgenticFlow?

    • A: Generate personalized meal plans based on client intake forms (Workflow + LLM). Automate social media content posting (Workflow + Social MCPs). Send automated client check-in reminders (Workflow + Email/SMS/WhatsApp MCP). Track client progress in Google Sheets (Workflow + Sheets MCP).

  • Q: Can AgenticFlow help find websites that pay writers or are open to collaboration in a specific niche?

    • A: Yes. Use a workflow: Start with niche keywords + "write for us" / "media kit" / "collaborate" in a Google Search action. Scrape resulting URLs (Web Scrape action or Apify MCP). Use an LLM action to analyze page content for relevant contact info or submission guidelines. Save findings to Google Sheets (MCP).

  • Q: Can AgenticFlow automate tasks like looking up Zillow values from a Google Sheet address?

  • Q: Can agents work on SEO meta tags in Shopify?

  • Q: Can AgenticFlow automate generating project documentation, offers, competitor research, user profiles, wireframes for a digital studio?

    • A: Yes. Use LLMs for docs/offers/personas. Use scraping/search for competitor research. Use API Call action for wireframes (e.g., call Figma API) or have LLM output specs.

  • Q: Can AgenticFlow process PDF invoices from email, extract line items, and save to a spreadsheet?

    • A: Yes. Use Gmail MCP -> PDF Text Extract action -> LLM action (prompt to find line items) -> Google Sheets MCP.

Agency & Client Use

  • Q: Can agencies use AgenticFlow to build/sell agents or workflows for clients?

    • A: Yes, absolutely. Build in your workspace, then embed the agent/workflow on the client's site (guest mode, no client login needed) or provide access via API. Billing is handled by you.

  • Q: Is white labeling available for agencies?

  • Q: How can I organize work for multiple clients within AgenticFlow?

    • A: Currently, the best practice is often to create a separate Workspace for each client if strict data/billing isolation is needed (requires separate LTD codes or subscriptions). You can also manage multiple clients within one workspace by naming agents/workflows clearly (e.g., "[ClientA] Support Bot"). Project-level organization is on the roadmap.

  • Q: Can I limit credits per client?

Support & Roadmap

  • Q: What kind of support is available? Can I get help setting up specific workflows?

    • A: All users get access to docs, tutorials, and community forum (community.agenticflow.ai). Tier 3 & 4 get priority support (faster responses, dedicated Discord channels). While we can't build every complex workflow custom, support aims to guide you and provide examples. For extensive setup, paid services or partners might be an option.

  • Q: How can I request features or integrations?

Workflow FAQ

How do I set default values for input parameters?

Click on the setting icon, located on the bottom right of the input component. Set the values, and click on "Set current value".

How do I insert variables into a CODE step?

Access to variables is possible via the params parameter. For instance, to access a variable called name, use params.name in JavaScript or params["name"] in Python.

How do I insert variables into the API step?

On your API component, change the body to edit as string and use {{}} to access variables.

How to make running an action conditional?

Click on the three vertical dots on the top right of the action and select "Add conditions". See the full guide at Adding condition to an action.

Why do I have to use single or double quotations around variables in my prompts?

Such marks (e.g., single, double, triple quote marks) are not required nor have a direct functional utility. It is a prompting technique that has been found to work well with LLMs. Keep in mind that an LLM prompt is a long piece of text composed of instructions, examples, etc. Single or double or triple quote marks around a variable X are just to specify the scope of X (i.e., the beginning and end of the string X within the prompt). The whole {{X}} brings the variable X into the prompt, meaning there won't be {{}} around it when passed to the LLM.

How do I use the Checkbox input component as a condition for running an action?

Add a condition to your action. Use the {{checkbox variable name}} as the value for the condition. For example, under the default step name:

  • {{checkbox}} when the checkbox is ticked

  • {{!checkbox}} when the checkbox is not ticked

How to run an action multiple times like a loop?

Click on the three vertical dots on the top right of the action and select "Enable foreach". See the full guide at Loop through an action.

How to reduce hallucination for LLM?

Here are a list of steps to take to improve your experience with LLMs:

  • Providing good and precise system prompt

  • Providing good prompt (Tips on a good prompt)

  • Providing data as background knowledge

  • More experiment with LLMs

Why is the LLM output cut off in the middle of a sentence and how to fix it?

LLMs have the capacity for a limited number of tokens. To manage this, ensure that your prompt/knowledge is concise. If your prompt/knowledge is too lengthy, there won't be enough room for the full output. Use vector search to fetch the most relevant pieces of knowledge, and consider decreasing the page size parameter under advanced options in most relevant data settings.

How do I set multiple outputs?

In the last step of your Workflow, click on the "Configure output" button. Disable "Infer output from the last action". Use "Add new output key" to add outputs and {{}} to access variables and steps' outputs. More details are provided at Output configuration.

How long can my bulk run take?

Each run is terminated after 4 hours. If your data table is large and 4 hours does not cover all the rows, you can rerun your enrichment using the "Run on rows that haven't run" option. This resumes execution from where it stopped.

How do I access the bulk-run analysis results?

Each output variable of your AI Workflow will be added to your data table as a new column. You can see the results on the data table or export them to a CSV.

Can an AI Workflow have multiple outputs?

Yes! You can configure multiple outputs for your AI Workflow. Each output will have its corresponding column in the data table.

Can I run a Workflow multiple times on a data table?

Yes! There is no limitation on the number of times you run a Workflow. Just keep in mind to name the output column for each run to avoid overwriting existing results.

If my dataset contains more than one column to be analyzed, do I need to upload the dataset multiple times?

No! You can use the same data table while configuring the bulk run as many times as needed. Just remember to name the output column for each run to avoid overwriting existing results.

Can I leave the page after starting a bulk-run?

Yes! Bulk data enrichment is executed in the background, so rows of data will be added to your dataset even if you leave or refresh the page.

Is there a cap on the number of rows AI Workflows can process?

Technically, no - however, you will be limited by the number of credits you have.

What format is supported for the data table?

Enhancement of your dataset executes across a dataset, which can be created from CSVs and Excel files or from files such as PDFs, audio, and Word which are automatically converted into a dataset.

How does bulk run (enrichment) pricing work?

Bulk runs are charged the same as individual triggers of a Workflow. Each row in your dataset will be the equivalent of one execution of the Workflow (for example, 2 credits per row).

How is credits consumption calculated?

There is a fixed fee per tier and a variable fee for certain steps. If you provide your own key, the variable fee is not charged.

What if I exceed the credit limit for my plan?

Depending on your plan, you might need to top up before further using the platform or have a buffer when your credits are negative but can still use the platform before topping up.

Will there be a price difference between using GPT 3.5 VS GPT4 or other models?

Different models have their own pricing. The cost is passed on directly. Keep in mind that if you provide your own key, the variable fee is not charged.

Can I use my own API key?

Absolutely! Set up your own keys on the API key page.

Data FAQ

What is the best practice when preparing a CSV file?

The quality of your data significantly impacts the results you'll get from your LLM, so it's important to properly prepare your dataset. You can manually generate your data or pull it from your CRM or any other source. The process of creating the dataset remains the same, regardless of the data source. It's important to include headers for every field/column in your file. Avoid using spaces or special characters in the headers. Stick to lowercase letters and use dashes instead of spaces. To improve your experience, we recommend short (a few words) and meaningful header names.

What is the maximum allowed file size?

  • Maximum file size to upload is 100 MB.

  • Maximum number of rows per data table is 50K.

  • Maximum raw text size to upload for knowledge retrieval is 10 MB.

What does Knowledge enable mean?

After uploading your data, you will see a pop-up window asking which fields to use to enable knowledge. The selected fields are vectorized, and vectors enable semantic search (i.e., search by meaning and not just word matching). In other words, vectors help match up a query with the most similar set of information from your dataset (e.g., the most similar responses from the past in a QA dataset).

How do I know if my dataset is vectorized?

A dataset labeled with Knowledge enabled in the Data page indicates there are vectors associated with the data.

Is there a way to vectorize/re-vectorize a dataset after the upload process is completed?

  • Re-vectorize: Select the table, click on the Knowledge button on the top right, and follow the vectorize wizard.

  • Vectorize after upload: If there are no vectors associated with a dataset, your table will appear under Datasets (i.e., not Knowledge). Click on the dataset that you wish to vectorize. On the new page, click on Convert to knowledge set and follow the wizard.

What models are used for vectorizing text data?

By default, MpNet is used for vectorizing text data. However, there are other models available. To use them, skip enabling knowledge when uploading your dataset. Next, select the uploaded dataset and click on the Vectorize button.

How do I know the name of the field containing the vectorized data?

Select the dataset that is vectorized, and you will see the name of the vector field on the top.

A: Credits meter platform usage. Every workflow/agent step costs a small FIXED amount (4 for T1/2, 3 for T3/4) for infrastructure. Steps using BUILT-IN AI models (e.g., Gemini Flash, 4o-mini) also have a VARIABLE cost based on token usage. More info:

A: A detailed Usage Dashboard showing per-step credit consumption is planned for the next development sprint. Pre-run cost estimates are not currently available but are being considered for the roadmap (vote here: ).

A: AgenticFlow supports many LLMs. We offer efficient built-in models (e.g., Gemini Flash, AgenticFlow 4o-mini) that use your platform credits. For access to a wider range, including the latest powerful models from OpenAI (GPT-4 series), Anthropic (Claude 3 series), Google (Gemini series), Perplexity, or models via OpenRouter, you use the "Bring Your Own Key" (BYOK) feature by adding your API key in Settings > Connections. For specific models like Gemini 2.5 or Grok 3, please check our roadmap () for upcoming support or use BYOK if they are available via a supported provider like Google or potentially OpenRouter partners.

$599). We made an exception to distill it as an add on. Vote/track here:

A: MCP is our integration layer allowing agents to use external tools/APIs via standardized connectors (2500+ available). Yes, the core MCP framework is included in all tiers. You connect tools like Gmail, Sheets, Slack, etc., once, and agents can then use their actions based on natural language commands. See the list: . Tutorial:

A: Not directly to create the visual workflow diagram. We find using templates () and instructing an Agent equipped with MCP tools () is more reliable currently. We are exploring converting agent conversations into reusable workflows (vote on roadmap: ).

A: Yes. Use the render_video action (or adapt templates like "VIDEO - STORY THROUGH EMOJI") to combine your uploaded audio/images/clips based on configured timings. No hard length limit from AgenticFlow, but video provider and credit/cost constraints apply. Use "Custom" mode in create_video action to provide your own script. Demo:

A: Image generation is built-in via generate_image action (uses Pixel ML OpenRouter, separate cost). AI video animation isn't native yet; vote on roadmap (). You can currently connect to external animation models via Replicate/FAL MCPs or API Call action.

A: Voice chat input/output isn't native yet but is on the roadmap (vote here: ). Workaround: Use a Speech-to-Text action/MCP (e.g., Whisper via OpenAI MCP) to transcribe voice input, process the text, then use a Text-to-Speech action/MCP for audio output.

A: Yes, agents can be embedded on websites (WordPress, Shopify, generic) using a JavaScript snippet found in Publish settings. Direct iframe src= URL embedding for agents is not yet available (vote here: ). Workaround: Embed a Workflow via its iframe code (Workflow > Share > Embed) for a form-like interaction.

A: To trigger a workflow externally, use its unique API endpoint (POST request). A native inbound webhook trigger action is on the roadmap (vote here: ). To send data out to another service's webhook, use the API Call action in your workflow.

A: MCP (Model Context Protocol - ) is our open standard integration layer. You connect tools once (via OAuth/API key in the MCP setup), get an MCP Server URL, and add that URL to AgenticFlow. Agents can then use that tool's actions via natural language. You do NOT need a Pipedream subscription; you can use MCPs from providers like Composio, Anthropic (soon), or self-host.

A: Please check our public roadmap (). If your desired tool/action isn't there, submit a new request. If it exists, vote for it. We prioritize based on community votes. For immediate needs, use the API Call action if the service has an API, or consider building a custom MCP server.

A: Not yet directly as visual actions. This "MCP in Workflows" feature is our top priority, targeted for release around early May 2025. Currently, Agents use MCP actions via natural language. Workflows require using the API Call action for external services. Track progress:

A: It uses the official WhatsApp Business API (WABA). Connect your WABA account via the WhatsApp Business MCP (). AgenticFlow can then send messages (often requiring templates).

A: The LinkedIn MCP () uses the official API. It can create posts, like/share, comment, get profiles, search orgs, etc. It cannot scrape arbitrary data or automate Direct Messages (DMs) due to API limitations.

A: We have GHL MCP placeholders, but currently 0 defined actions. So, you must use the API Call action within a Workflow. Connect multiple GHL accounts by using the specific API key for each account in the Authorization Header of the API Call action. Request native GHL MCP actions on our roadmap:

A: Yes, via the Telegram Bot API MCP:

A: Yes, via the Gmail MCP (OAuth): . Free Gmail accounts work.

A: For sending, use MCPs like SendGrid () or Amazon SES (). Direct SMTP/IMAP MCP is not available yet (request on roadmap).

A: We prioritize adding actions based on roadmap votes (). Use the API Call action or contribute an MCP server if needed sooner.

A: Yes. Connect the Telegram Bot API MCP (). Use workflow steps or agent instructions to: Get messages from source channel -> Use LLM or Regex to extract links -> Use Telegram MCP to send formatted messages to target channel.

A: Yes. If the affiliate networks have APIs, use the API Call action. If they have web pages, use Web Scraping or Apify MCP. Use an LLM action to format the deals. Use the WordPress MCP () to publish.

A: Yes. Trigger workflow on new Sheet row (via API/Table Run). Use Google Sheets MCP to get address. Use Apify MCP () with a Zillow scraping action to get the value (direct Zillow scraping is difficult). Use Sheets MCP to write the value back.

A: Potentially. Use Shopify MCP () to get product data. Use LLM action to generate SEO title/description. Use Shopify MCP's "Update Product" action if it supports modifying the SEO fields.

A: No standard license. Options: Use API + Next.js boilerplate () for custom frontend; purchase Enterprise plan for private deployment; or propose terms via .

A: Not currently; credits are pooled at the workspace level. Please request "Per-Agent/Client Credit Limits" on the roadmap:

A: Use our public roadmap: . Submit new ideas or vote on existing ones. We prioritize based heavily on community feedback.
